Speaker bio:
Rizwan Mohammad is a Canadian Muslim of South Asian heritage who was born in Toronto. He studied Islamic History at the University of Toronto and Islamic Philosophy at McGill University. He is currently the national project coordinator of Muslim Youth Canada, an educational initiative of the Canadian Council of Muslim Women financially supported by Citizenship and Immigration Canada's Multiculturalism Program which seeks to empower young Canadian Muslims by strengthening their plural identities and promoting increases in their civic engagement.
